Shibuya / 渋谷 mini demo Derived from Project PLATEAU / Shibuya-ku 2025 3D city model. Changes: bounded selection, local projection, triangulation, Blender rendering, AI illustration, selective commercial-sign accents and lossless delivery pyramid. Source policy: https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/site-policy/ Geographic details and signs are interpreted; no current survey is claimed. Dataset-specific third-party exceptions have not been independently audited. Inspired by isometric.nyc and tinyrj.com; no affiliation or copied Rio artwork. Additional illustrations: Anime summer and Painted, generated from the same PLATEAU render with a user-supplied image as a lighting/painting reference. The reference itself is not distributed. Separate generated illustrations may reinterpret facade and roof details; no exact cross-style geometric registration is claimed. Landmark reference coordinates: © OpenStreetMap contributors. https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright . Five versioned source objects and projection assumptions are recorded in research/shibuya-pilot/shibuya-expanded-anchors.json. Marker positions in generated illustrations are approximate, not survey-grade. Crossing-paint reference centerlines: © OpenStreetMap contributors; source way IDs and coordinates are retained in research/shibuya-pilot/scramble-crosswalk-reference.json. Illustrative widths, spacing and 3D road-height projection were added locally. A built-in ImageGen edit supplied the accepted paint fragments; existing city pixels outside the paint footprint are preserved. The foreground tower occludes much of the crossing. No measured paint geometry or current stripe count is claimed. Continuity experiment: a reviewed 2194 x 2194 master assembled from four AI-generated windows guided by crops from a fixed-camera PLATEAU-based source render. Assembly uses a quilt seam and flat-color feathering. Generated overlaps are not identical; small linework or surface-color variations may remain. Navigation is continuous only inside this image. The overview, crossing and station are independent illustrations, and architectural and geographic details remain interpreted. Center atlas: the 4074 x 4074 master covers central Shibuya and immediate surroundings, not all of Shibuya-ku. Sixteen fixed-camera windows were assembled into one AI-illustrated image, including the four previous windows. The source selection contains 7,396 buildings, including 4,332 neutral LOD1 buildings; not all are visible, and generated facades are illustrative. Twelve approximate landmark anchors are projected from sources including OpenStreetMap: © OpenStreetMap contributors, https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright. Individual sources and projection assumptions are documented in experiments/shibuya-center-v2/geography/pois.json. Their registration to the generated artwork is not verified. Wide atlas: eight additional AI-generated fixed-camera windows extend the accepted center illustration laterally. The twelve existing OpenStreetMap-derived references remain approximate; geographic registration and the illustrated details are not surveyed. Complete atlas: twelve AI-generated fixed-camera sectors extend the wide illustration above and below. Its protected interior is unchanged except for a 266,255-pixel masked repair region; 314-pixel top and bottom overlap bands allow quilting. Existing OpenStreetMap-derived places remain approximate and do not establish surveyed positions or verified new monuments. Minato pilot: based on 2025 Project PLATEAU Minato LOD2 geometry and illustrated with AI. Tokyo Tower's antenna is stylized and extends approximately 80 source-image pixels above projected geometry; this image is not an engineering or geographic survey. Three approximate projected references (Tokyo Tower, Zōjōji and Sangedatsumon) use OpenStreetMap sources: © OpenStreetMap contributors, https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright. Source references and bounds are documented in experiments/minato-tower-v1/geography/pois.json; visual registration and entrances are unverified. Minato ground pass: approximate OpenStreetMap references informed the land-cover edit; trees and paths are illustrative and not verified ground conditions. Minato wide: eight additional fixed-camera windows extend the original to 5954 x 2194, approximately 2.71 times its area. The 1566 x 2194 interior and protected Tower, temple and gate rectangles remain RGB-exact; edge quilting changes 676,218 pixels from the old image. A pool correction changes 41,950 pixels outside the old core. Eleven ImageGen calls comprise eight sectors, two repairs and one pool correction. Six OpenStreetMap-derived place positions are approximate, not surveyed or verified entrances: © OpenStreetMap contributors, https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright. The artwork is illustrative. Minato surroundings: twenty-four additional fixed-camera windows extend the wide illustration above and below to 5954 x 5954, approximately 2.71 times its area. The wide image is placed at (0,1880); its 5954 x 1566 interior and protected landmark rectangles remain RGB-exact, with the outer 314-pixel horizontal bands available for quilting. All twelve earlier delivered masters remain unchanged. Twenty-seven built-in ImageGen calls comprise twenty-four sectors and three targeted repairs. Eleven approximate destinations include five source-registered additions whose artwork passed independent review: Atago Shrine, NHK Museum, Atago Green Hills, Shiba Daijingu and Ichinohashi Park. Project PLATEAU Minato-ku 2025 supplies the underlying geometry; approximate land-cover and place references include © OpenStreetMap contributors, https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright. This covers Tokyo Tower and surrounding neighborhoods, not all Minato-ku; generated details, source registration and entrances are not surveyed. Production references and review records are retained in experiments/minato-complete-v1 and research/minato-complete-pilot. No model training, paid API or GPU rental was used. Northern connection source: Project PLATEAU Minato-ku 2025 (https://www.geospatial.jp/ckan/dataset/plateau-13103-minato-ku-2025) and Chiyoda-ku 2025 (https://www.geospatial.jp/ckan/dataset/plateau-13101-chiyoda-ku-2025). Shared JIS meshes cover an adjoining source area; this does not claim complete coverage of either ward. General policy: https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/site-policy/ . Dataset-specific exceptions for third-party textures were not independently audited. Approximate land-cover and place references include © OpenStreetMap contributors, https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright . Source positions, terrain, vegetation, generated details and visitor entrances are not surveyed or current-condition guarantees. The north illustration remains separately subject to source, artwork and delivery acceptance. Asakusa world pilot: based on Project PLATEAU Taito-ku 2025 (https://www.geospatial.jp/ckan/dataset/plateau-13106-taito-ku-2025), modified and rendered, with AI illustration; references include © OpenStreetMap contributors (https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright). Pagoda silhouette, Hozomon details, ground and generated features are illustrative, not surveyed; artwork does not connect to other districts. General policy: https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/site-policy/ . West connector: based on Project PLATEAU Shibuya and Minato 2025 CityGML (https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/site-policy/) and © OpenStreetMap contributors (https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright), modified and AI illustrated. The seam band is a derived world-only patch; historic Shibuya remains unchanged. Land cover and details are approximate. The connection to Minato is not illustrated. Central Tokyo / Hibiya pilot: Project PLATEAU 2025 CityGML (https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/site-policy/) and © OpenStreetMap contributors (https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright), modified and AI illustrated. Hibiya Library geometry informs its approximate landmark; foliage and details are illustrative. A gap before Minato remains unillustrated. Shinjuku pilot: Project PLATEAU Shinjuku-ku 2025 CityGML (https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/site-policy/) and © OpenStreetMap contributors (https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright), modified and AI illustrated. Railways, platforms and height are approximate; the repaired railway linework is softer. The district is separated from other illustrated areas.
